The 196 yard par 3 7th “Pilkington” is a beautiful short hole played across the Reay burn to a raised green some 190 yards away. The green is the same level as the teebut between them is a burn followed by a steep escarpment to the green- this gives the impression of closeness but do not be deceived, it is all carry and there is no relief for being short.
